I wonder when the 'best' sales happen. They have one for everything, Every holliday, plus 4/20, 7/10, Grandmothers day

I am done getting sucked into sales. It needs to be stuff from a breeder that released new and it won't last or be reproduced (counts out a few of the good ones) and there's just not a lot of 'new' that exites me. I was never into hype (I like Pink Floyd and Rush ) and I don't even have an instagram account.

The Black Friday sales and stuff near winter seems best for getting the most new drops in a sale.

Once in awhile you can still find deals via email etc but IG does help for finding them. I only use IG for weed. I don't have any other social media and I don't follow anyone that isn't basically a breeder, seedbank, or well known grower. I just had to shape up the list as there was way too many accts that just spew political bs and sell merch. I follow about 100 or so now.

The biggest sales I seem to notice come at the end of the year. Basically almost all major holidays will have a sale. 4/20 is a huge one as well. Cant beat the Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years sales stretch tho. If you could hold off buying to just those sales periods, you would prob still spend more than you want/think lol.

If you wanna try something new that definitely doesn't seem like gelato exponentials, try out some of the Gary Payton. I was very pleasantly surprised with the terps and high. Mine wasn't a cross and pretty sure it was the real deal. I would have a cut of it already but he had to ditch that one as it tested positive for the virod. Buds were all very small and I could only imagine it would have been even better had it been healthy.

I have a few breeders I have settled on unless something random I already have in the seedbank impresses, then I might hunt for more from that breeder. I tend towards those that breed for face-punch. I want to feel the effects. I am not even interested in buying cuts. I'll grow beans and maybe take my own cuts, I get how phenotypical expression works. But I would rather have someone else that's got connections get those cuts and all the worries - then sell me beans. Crossed with other stuff, that's fine if the fire is still there. In a pack of beans I should find something good.

I also learn a lot from watching podcast interviews. It helps you figure out at least what the breeder thinks they are trying to accomplish. Then if you run their beans, you can see how close they got to what they were trying to sell you. I'm pretty high right now LOL

Like Humbolt Seed Co and Chad Pennington and his daughter. They are going big. They want to get lines that are suitable for prodiction and combine-harvesting because once it is a regular comodity like corn or beans that is what big ag will be looking for. Good for them. It'll be good to see what happens there, and at least you know a good breeder is going to be helping Marlboro weed not fuck up America. But that means I am not as interested in their newer stuff. I think all the pheno-flavors they pulled from that large hunt might be the last I would be interested in. But I dropped a Mountaintop Mint fem and it was neither mountaintop nor mint...

I am pretty convinced that Rasta Jeff from Irie has a few tents and some buddies that grow for him and he chucks his pollen on his plants at their house to get variety with a few different males. I like that he does male/female breeding and provides regs. He said that he breeds for super effects, then whatever else goes with it. Everything he runs is tested, he can talk about all the pheno's that express, the different high's, etc. I got a pack of his beans as a freebie then went and learned and bought a bunch more.

I have no hate for big business. The Chad's and Brad's have lobbyists and lawyers that us stoners bitching on youtube don't have. We need people willing to jump in that market and keep it from getting fucked, because you're not stopping it.

But my thing will always be the classic stuff or breeders that breed for what they like, then sell it after they are sure it's good. If I know they like what I like - win win.

Plus the freebie from JBC is more Second Gen which is BB Xs from JD. That makes 5 strains total now from them. From what I hear I'll prob never find a good BB but I've got Dynasty for that.

Very high marks for the smoke but old seeds. Tbo the Blue MagooV2 from Dynasty is prob better than the DJ Short BB clone I had in 2010.

No not those ones yet. I did pop a Notorious THC and Old Growth OG tho. I cant remember if I gave them away to a guy or they went outside when I took the tent down. Either way Ill have no idea what they were like. I dont talk much to that guy and the ones outside a 3 gal neglected potted piles of shit lol. The rest are Jelly Rancher fem, Jack Herer RF5, Don Carlos RF3, Headband RF4, Dream RF3, Poundcake fem, and Mountaintop Mint fem.

I made my last bean purchase - for a while - unless certain breeders I am watching release something good. If you are a breeder, be wise with your freebies. I got the 707 Dogma pack free and after growing 2 and seeing one male and one femaale I snagged a few of their Chem crosses.
The Family Tree seeds I wanted the Pam pure. Got that and the Cowboy Caviar because he talks a lot about it. It sounds really good. He gave me a 1:1 freebie that sounds interesting - and there were 19 of them! I bought the Burnside from Smiley's garden and he sent a free full pack of testers that sound good too. Got a random 1:1 from Hoku, carrots, a kelp product sample pack, a smaller grove bag, and the possible gem in this freebie lot is the Mandelbrot's Kush from The Ranch. Turpentine OG x Royal Kush 7 x The Truth. Oh there were 18 of those...

Well it seems like I couldn't even go one month lol. I guess it will slow down after New Years. Maybe. Probably. I think so. I think I'm being more selective in the breeders that I purchase from so the amount of stuff I want/ed naturally goes down. I still want to load up more CSI and Clearwater tho. I have one more box on the way from JBC that should be here Sat.

JBC packs showed up today. I picked up a few more Archive Face Off OG crosses. Its funny when reading thru the descriptions for his strains, it seems like Toyz he kinda shits on the runtz strain as a whole lol.
Super stoked on the extra freebies JB is handing out. I've been wanting some of the Legendary Grape Stomper IBL but its pricey so this cross is nice. That's the first pineapple express anything I have now. The Ocelot V2 was an easy choice. It was a small order but I was excited for this one even more so now with the particular freebies.

The descriptions on his heavy sativas sound awesome. I've got a few strains from him and most excited for Iron Cindy. You can also find his beans on JBC and most times they will be a little cheaper than Revs site. Rev has the "gamblers table" which seems to be testers. I got two of those strains as freebies for buying KOS packs from JBC. I too need that Deep Chunk. I'll follow along for yours.

I also found it very interesting that he carries Red Russian Skunk which is what he says RKS originally started as. As much hooplah that surrounds RKS, I think I'll pass on everything RKS now. Not saying he doesn't have it but super drama subject.

I have some strains that are skunky - I'm good. I'm looking for high's, not smells. I'm a child of the late 70's early 80's as far as weed culture. Getting your first hit off a joint at 10 or 11 from a hippie neighbor kid a few years older who's mom was named Rainbow or Sunshine or something - I think it was his parents weed It smelled skunky to me.

My only recollection of a standout skunk was one sumer, 82 or 83, there was some green sticky bud that went around. There was a smell of heavy skunk, but also pine. And it gave you that 'cool-face' happy buzz where everything's funny. It was the brightest green bud I'd seen, and had bright orange hairs, but not covered like the Panama Red. It had little tufts of what I now know were probably late pistils that didn't brown completely. That were probably on everything at the time but never survived the trash compactor and shipping.

No one called anything roadkill and the 'skunk-weed' could have been any number of things because I don't think Sam Skunkman got famous until after that.

Do me a favor and spend your seed dollars elsewhere, and tell your friends. My 5 beans and whatever else (or not) arrive today but I also got a nice personal response to my "contact us" question. I let them know that I was able to log on to their site and see that the order was filled and get tracking info, but I never received any email confirmation of anything. I asked if it was a glitch in their system or something. In fact, so there's no confusion I'll screen-cap a little bit.

I really hope its not the guy from the podcast. His email addy says a lot lol. Either way I wont be spending my money there. I was waiting to see if they would run any sales thru the site and I've seen none. Kinda like the Archive site. I have only seen one sale since bookmarking it and I've got their stuff cheaper elsewhere. I always like to try direct to see the freebie situation even if none are listed just to make sure. Its why I mentioned JBC. I got mine on BF for cheap with freebies that are on the gamblers table. I'll give my money to JB.

I run into weirdo all the time sending "tester" emails even cause if you cant even contact me why would I spend my money there? That dude CannaCollectors on IG that reps hard for Relentless Genetics is a jerkoff. I've contacted him two separate occasions with detailed questions about what exactly the freebies listed are during drops. He just says, its freebies man. I didn't want to contact him the second time but I gave him the benefit of the doubt as I was directed to him from Relentless themselves...which seemed very odd. Why cant the breeder just tell me the freebies? Either way Ill never contact that dude again.
