when i first started growing that was known as a backcross. or bx. somewhere things got changed or maybe i was misinformed to begin with. everything h ever said about s1s and r1s was all the same shit i learned. but for some reason i always thought backcrossing or bx was the strain crossed back to itself.

Yea a s1 is a self pollination. Back cross is when you tack the offspring and cross it back to the original parents. I dont know the history but the cube does seem like a bx

It's an in-cross (IX) as opposed to a back-cross (BX). Only difference is that an IX is all the same genetics Starfighter x (Starfighter x Starfighter), A BX would be like Starfighter x (Starfighter x Mac)
